  • Overview

    The Digital Marketing Managers Leads the Berkshire Hathaway Automotive (BHA) Marketing team in the ideation, execution and measurement of digital marketing strategies and tactics aimed at driving Opportunities To Do Business for BHA dealerships.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide Digital Marketing strategic direction for BHA dealerships.
    • Directly manage Digital Marketing staff and supervise the workflow of their individual efforts.
    • Collaborate with other BHA Digital Marketing leaders in various functional areas: Paid Digital Advertising (PPC, Display, Social and Video Advertising, etc…), SEO/Content Development, Website Maintenance, Inventory Syndication, Email Marketing/Enewsletters.
    • Develop full understanding of marketing challenges and competitive landscapes for all BHA dealerships and markets.
    • As one of the resident Digital Marketing experts, provide training/coaching/guidance to BHA Digital Marketing staff and Advertising Consultants.
    • Stay abreast of and implement latest Digital Marketing trends in order to continuously drive qualified traffic to BHA websites and dealerships.
    • Measure and report performance of all Digital Marketing campaigns, and assess results against goals and benchmarks.
    • Manage monthly enterprise Digital Marketing reporting process
    • As necessary, provide in-dealership Digital Marketing consultation to BHA General Managers/Partners.
    • Oversee monthly Digital Marketing Review process, which include a full analysis of dealership performance in the following areas: website performance and user experience, paid digital and SEO.
    • Manage Digital Marketing communication with key stakeholders: senior dealership staff, internal key department heads and media partners.
    • Manage key Digital Marketing vendor relationships, which include but are not limited to Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Facebook, SearchForce, Dealer.com, CDK, AutoTrader, Cars.com, TrueCar, CarGurus, etc…

    Qualifications

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Advertising, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
    • Minimum 2 Years Management Experience
    • Minimum 5 Years Digital Marketing Experience

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    • Tier 3 automotive marketing experience preferred
    • Working knowledge of SEO and SEM
    • Working knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools
    • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
    • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
    • Working knowledge of email and video marketing tools, processes and best practices
    • Working knowledge of vehicle inventory syndication tools (vAuto, HomeNet, etc…) and processes
    • Working knowledge of automotive CRM platforms a plus
    • Working knowledge of Social Media/Online Reputation Management platforms and best practices
    • Strong presentation skills

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

    • Google Analytics certification
    • Google AdWords certification

    SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:

    • Select members of BHA Marketing Digital Team
