Overview

We are looking for professional and experienced F&I Directors to join us in supporting our dealership staff and customers.

 

F&I Director opportunities are in a variety of dynamic and profitable dealerships including import and domestic brands across Florida. These stores offer aggressive compensation packages based on experience. If this strategic position sounds like the perfect opportunity, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

 

Production
• Manage and generate income by overseeing production managers, secondary directors, and producers on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis
• Ensure target revenues are met or exceeded
• Partner all deals with sales managers
• Structure all check out deals
• Ensure that every deal is worked in a timely fashion and to its total capacity with respect to lenders’ guidelines
• Communicate with sales department on policies and procedures
• Inform management of their deal status before scheduled Save-a-Deal meeting
• Set up and manage a finance product after sale program
• Set objectives for achieving sales and gross profits
• Establish redlines on all products and payments
• Maintain a 90% billed to sold ratio
• Establish a T/O system for every deal
• Maintain retail-rate matrix – update as necessary
• Review all deals with lenders and GSM

 

 Development/Training
• Be an example of professional morals, ethics and excellent customer service (CSI)
• Work closely with sales team on enforcement of proper selling methods
• Set and maintain producers’ work schedule
• Make sure finance department is properly staffed
• Maintain and promote an enthusiastic work environment
• Responsible for developing a productive relationship throughout the dealership and with customers and lenders
• Provide guidance, support and motivation to ensure employees are maximizing their ability and growth
• Establish a weekly training schedule a month in advance for your producers
• Schedule one-on-ones with your producers on a weekly basis
• Supply ongoing training on lease and balloon presentations

 

Analysis
• Review payment in/payment out log daily
• Review “Red Lines” on all finance products and agreed upon package payments
• Review and inspect the flow of department’s paperwork on a daily basis to insure a timely turn around on all deals by producers, as well as the accuracy of all documents produced in the department. (Inspect what you Expect)
• Track portfolio with lenders
• Monitor dealership’s Net Dollar per Copy
• Review sales managers’ finance numbers daily, weekly and monthly

Qualifications

 

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required

• Two to four year college degree preferred

• At least 3-5 years of finance and/or sales management experience required

• Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales and finance goals

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• ADP Dealer Services experience a plus

• Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook, Excel, and Word)

• Professional appearance and work ethic

• Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast paced environment

• Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
